Russ Mitchinson is the Founder of Rebel Angel Strategy.

He’s currently working out of Sydney, though started his career as a communication strategist in London. Russ holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oxford.

My mentoring style is open, honest and focused. It’s only through active listening and quality conversations that I can help my mentee uncover what’s motivating them, where they want to be, and why?

I can help you take measured risks and always work your edge, as this is the only place you can grow.

The scientific principle I adhere to is Strengths-base Psychology. One of the tools I use is the Clifton Strengths Finder; this enables me to identify the 5 key strengths of my mentees and accelerate their strengths through specific ideas for action.

Seeing others grow and flourish is a passion of mine; I’ve built various engaged teams and supported their hopes, dreams and ambitions. I’ve backed my mentees to take risks, challenging the status quo and themselves.

‘A rising tide raises all ships’ and mentoring is an amazing way to give back to the industry that has always supported me. Great mentoring is a deeply positive experience for both the mentee and mentor, each learning and developing because of this productive relationship.
