I thrive on engaging in intellectually stimulating business discussions and pioneering new, data-driven experiences – while keeping it human centric

"I am deeply honoured to have the chance to support others in realising their full potential, both for themselves and for the benefit of their teams and loved ones."

Why do you want to be a mentor?

Being entrusted with the role of a mentor is a precious gift, affording me the chance to attentively listen to another person’s experiences and aspirations, all in pursuit of personal and professional growth. Through profound listening and collaborative teamwork, we uncover the pathways to the mentee growth journey, witnessing firsthand as the mentee progresses with newfound confidence and pride.

Originally from the Netherlands, my journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, where I gained exposure to ICT by implementing a warehouse management system for a major grocery chain in my home country. This experience led me to Microsoft, where I delved into Manufacturing and Supply Chain planning solutions, collaborating with Microsoft Partners to secure their initial deals with significant enterprise clients.

In 2003, I made the move to Australia, continuing my career with Microsoft before transitioning to roles at SAP and eventually spending a decade with Salesforce in various sales capacities. Throughout my tenure, I led teams of enterprise sales executives, fostering partnerships with Fortune 500 brands in both B2B and B2C sectors. I focused on helping enterprise organisation becoming customer-centric, selling business and digital transformations, and implementing growth-oriented strategies through innovative GTMs and the introduction of new products and services.

Today, I am at the helm of Last Yard’s sales organisation, spearheading its expansion into the markets of Asia, Europe, and the United States.

While my family and two children remain my top priority, I thrive on engaging in intellectually stimulating business discussions and pioneering new, data-driven experiences – while keeping it human centric. My approach is rooted in curiosity, authenticity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, as I navigate the dynamic landscape of partnership and growth.

Outside of work, I indulge in hobbies such as playing chess, sailing, and enjoying the thrill of driving beautiful cars. Recently, I’ve reignited my passion for music by returning to playing the piano.
