Mark Lollback is one of Australia’s most successful international marketing professionals with more than 30 years of global blue-chip experience. Mark’s passion is turnarounds and startups. He is a strategic maverick that believes in being brave and pushing the boundaries in creatively solving problems and at the same time being very people focused.

Mark’s last role was CEO of GroupM Australia & New Zealand for 5 years, Australia’s largest media group with more than $3bn in billings.

Mark is now focused on giving back and helping other Executives through the establishment of “Global Mentorship” company and programs.

Prior to joining GroupM he was the first Chief Marketing Officer for McDonald’s Australia & New Zealand, where he spearheaded a transformation and turnaround program that included the ‘Create Your Taste’ customisable burger menu and McCafe through drive-thru.

Mark previously held senior marketing roles focused on turnarounds – including Global CMO at ANZ Bank, Global CMO at Pepsi Lipton International – New York, VP Marketing Unilever Australia, CMO Unilever Ice Cream – China and Marketing Manager at Wall’s in the UK.

Mark is an Independent Director of Food Bank Australia & Be Centre & Advisory Director at Thank Full. He now invests and oversees go-to-market strategies for emerging tech startups that are focused on doing good for humanity, the planet or positively transform an industry. Mark is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

When not at work, Mark likes to spend time with his wife and family around their home on the Northern Beaches and indulge his passion for sailing on Pittwater.
