Angela Earl is one of New Zealand’s top media sales leaders, with a track record of commercial and partnership success. She is interested in how people and businesses think, and is a big believer in the benefits of being present, curious and optimistic.

With senior leadership roles in the digital and publishing industry, Angela is currently Commercial Director for New Zealand’s influential luxury lifestyle multimedia platform Denizen. She was previously GM Custom Solutions at New Zealand’s #1 news site Stuff, where she was responsible for increasing national advertising revenue and market share through high-value, strategic, integrated and collaborative partnerships.

In 2023, Angela spent time working out of Norway visiting Scandinavia’s largest publisher, Schibsted, where she explored areas such as business strategy, global trends, data and audience targeting, developments in AI, content marketing, people leadership and coaching among other areas. Angela has been recognised for her achievements with multiple awards, including the INMA (International News Media Awards) 2021 Honourable Mention for Best Idea to Grow Advertising Revenue and the Stuff Kauri 2019 Impact and People’s Choice Awards.

Outside of work Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, is studying a graduate diploma in psychology and is often seen in New Zealand’s great outdoors.
