The Power of Human - Centred Mentorship

Human-Centred Mentoring stands out as a beacon of support and guidance in times of career upheaval. Unlike traditional outplacement services, which often provide standardised resources and generic advice, Human-Centred Mentoring places the individual at the heart of the process. It’s about more than just finding a new job; it’s about holistic growth, personal empowerment, and tapping into real-life experience.

Here’s why Human-Centred Mentoring trumps traditional outplacement:

  • Personalised Guidance: One size does not fit all in career transitions. Our mentors take the time to understand each mentee’s strengths, weaknesses, and career objectives. Through personalised guidance, mentees receive tailored strategies and actionable advice to navigate their transition effectively.
  • You are in Control:  With our Transition & Transformation Program – you are in control. Once you have been through the structured and very personal part of the Program – You get to choose your Mentors. You can review their profiles and videos and then select who you would like to be part of your transformation journey.
  • Real-Life Experience: Our executive mentors aren’t just advisors—they’re seasoned professionals with firsthand experience in the corporate world. They’ve weathered storms, seized opportunities, and amassed invaluable insights along the way. By sharing their real-life experiences, they provide mentees with practical wisdom and perspective that can’t be found in textbooks.
  • Holistic Support: Transitioning careers is more than just updating your resume and attending interviews. It’s a journey of self-discovery, growth, and resilience. Human-Centred Mentoring offers holistic support, addressing not only professional development but also emotional well-being and personal fulfilment. The Program includes a one on one session with an experienced and registered Psychologist.
  • Long-Term Relationships: Unlike the transactional nature of outplacement services, Human-Centred Mentoring fosters long-term relationships built on trust, respect, and mutual learning. Mentees benefit from ongoing support and mentorship beyond the initial transition, guiding them through various stages of their career journey.

Benefits and Advantages of our Approach for Companies

Transitioning your approach to outplacement can offer several advantages and benefits to your company including:

  1. Positive Brand Image: By offering comprehensive support to employees during a transition, the company demonstrates its commitment to employee well-being and professional development. This can enhance the company’s reputation as a caring and responsible employer, both internally and externally.
  2. Retention of Talent: Providing robust outplacement services signals to remaining employees that the company values its workforce, even during difficult times. This can help maintain morale and loyalty among current employees, reducing turnover and preserving institutional knowledge and expertise.
  3. Reduced Legal Risks: Offering personalised support and resources during the transition can mitigate potential legal risks associated with layoffs or redundancies. Employees who feel supported and respected during the transition are less likely to pursue legal action against the company.
  4. Enhanced Employer Branding: Employees who receive comprehensive outplacement support are more likely to speak positively about their experience, even if they’re leaving the company. This can contribute to positive word-of-mouth and improve the company’s employer branding, making it more attractive to future talent.
  5. Smooth Transition for Remaining Employees: When employees who are being made redundant receive adequate support and guidance, it can help them transition more smoothly to their next opportunities. This reduces disruption within the company and allows remaining employees to focus on their work without undue distraction.
  6. Alumni Network Development: Providing ongoing support and resources to former employees can help maintain positive relationships and create a strong alumni network. This network can be valuable for future recruitment, business development, and industry connections.
